  1. My name is Darrel Kellerman, co-chairman of the 2013 Kaw Valley Woodcarvers Show and Sale. Our show this year is November 16 & 17.

Joyce Volmut, last years show chairperson, recently sold her home and has moved to Washington State. As I review what she has passed on to me I noticed that you have participated in our show last year or in the recent years; and have not registered for this year.

I would ask you to consider signing up for this year’s show. At this point we have two vendors registered, Mountain Wood Carvers from Estes Park, and UTC Hardwoods from Branson, Mo. Our Judge this year is John Engler, a full time woodcarver from the Springfield, Missouri area. He is a graduate of Southwest Missouri State University with a BFA degree. He is very active in teaching relief carving and watercolor painting and has judged several shows.

This is our 34th Annual Show; we feel we have quality participants, an excellent judge, draw a good crowd to view the participants art work in wood. Many of our participants have good success in selling their work to the public.

I would ask that you consider attending this year’s show; I think you will find it rewarding.

Should you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact me, I will do my best to answer your question(s). I would be pleased to email you a registration form if you are interested in attending.
