Want to try your hand at burning?
Pyrography is FUN to learn – and Jo offers classes in Abilene and surrounding towns. Leave your contact information if you would like to be notified of the next scheduled class.

for the FREEDOM FESTIVAL
held in Osawatomie, Kansas
The Freedom Festival features the re-enactment of the Battle of Osawatomie where John Brown and 30 Free State Guerilla’s fought John Reid and 250 pro slavery militia on Aug. 30, 1856.
In addition, the event will have Civil War weapons and drill demonstrations, first person narratives of Territorial Kansas and Civil War era figures, Frontier Artisans,(Like PYROGRAPHY!) live music, a modern crafts show, children’s activities, food vendors and many other family fun activities.
…Come on out and watch Jo working on a burn – “somewhere in the middle” of the park! …

Summer Break!
2 Classes – one for Adults and one for YOUNG Adults
will be scheduled in the fall through the DK CO Arts Council.
***The Youth class (12 and older) will be Oct. 30; 1:00 – 3:00 PM in
the DKCO Arts Council resource room. Due to a grant – the fees will
be reduced. Contact the Arts Council for more info.

You must register. Class size is LIMITED.
